Day 2: Rise and shine for an unforgettable exploration of Cotopaxi National Park, named after the towering Cotopaxi volcano, the highest active volcano globally, standing proudly at 5,897 meters (19,349 ft) above sea level. Embark on a scenic hike at El Salitre, where, weather permitting, you’ll be treated to breathtaking vistas of the majestic volcano and the surrounding landscape.
